Delete account.

Language Islands, operated by Tunç Polat. These instructions apply to the mobile app (iOS & Android) and the web app.

Deletion happens directly in the app — no email request is required:

• In the mobile app: Open the app → Settings → “Delete account” and confirm.
• In the web app: Sign in at www.language-islands.com → Settings → “Delete account” and confirm.
• By email: If you no longer have access to your account, write to us at tunc-polat@hotmail.com.

Deleting your account permanently and irreversibly removes:

• Your profile and credentials (name, email, language preferences) — sign-in is no longer possible afterwards.
• Your personal sentence lists and their contents.
• All of your learning progress (mastered sentences).
• Your subscription records in our database.

Sentences you contributed to the shared library are kept but anonymised (no longer linked to your account). Billing receipts we are legally required to retain are held by the payment provider (App Store / Google Play / Stripe via RevenueCat) according to their policies.

Personal data is deleted immediately on confirmation; any residual copies in backups are removed within 30 days.

You don't have to delete your whole account: in the app you can remove individual sentence lists at any time under “Lists” without closing your account.
